Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups fresh watermelon (seeded and cubed)
- 1 cup heavy cream (chilled)
Instructions
- Slice fresh watermelon into manageable cubes and remove any stray seeds.
- Blend the cubes in a high-speed blender until smooth.
- Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve for a smoother texture if desired.
- Pour cold heavy cream into a chilled mixing bowl and whip using an electric mixer until firm peaks form.
- Fold the blended watermelon puree gently into the whipped cream using a silicone spatula.
- Pour into a shallow, airtight container, level the surface, and freeze for at least 4 hours until scoopable.
Notes
Chill mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10 minutes before whipping. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks; let sit on the counter for 5 minutes before scooping.
