Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 150g each)
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 1/2 medium lemons)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
2 lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Place chicken breasts in the marinade, coating evenly. Refrigerate for 15 minutes (minimum) to 24 hours (preferred for deeper flavor).
Place marinated chicken in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. Cook for 6 minutes at 375°F (200°C), pause to flip, then cook for 5 additional minutes.
Brush remaining marinade over the chicken during the last 2-3 minutes to enhance caramelization.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Marinate longer (up to 24 hours) for more intense flavor.
For extra crispiness, lightly broil for 1-2 minutes post-air frying.
Use chicken thighs for heartier texture or if breasts are too thin.
Store leftover chicken in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
Freeze uncooked marinated breasts for up to 2 months for meal prep.
