4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6–8 oz each)
1 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove (minced, optional for extra flavor)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt
Black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (preheating time not included in cook time)
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides
Coat each breast evenly with basil pesto
Place in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each
Drizzle olive oil over the pesto-coated chicken
Air fry for 10 minutes
Flip each breast, then air fry for 4-6 more minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and optional garlic during the last 2 minutes of cooking
Remove, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve
