Ingredients
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 2 lbs)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¾ cup BBQ sauce (adjust as desired)
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Season chicken thighs generously with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Drizzle olive oil over the thighs and toss to coat.
Arrange thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until edges begin to brown.
Brush BBQ sauce over the thighs and return to the oven for an additional 5–10 minutes.
For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes until glaze is bubbly and golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Skin remains crispy if not removed during resting
Use homemade or store-bought BBQ sauce with no alcohol
For a deeper flavor, marinate thighs with the dry rub for 30 minutes before baking
Thighs can be grilled if preferred
