Ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (4–5 oz each)
1 cup Caesar dressing
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
4 garlic cloves (minced)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 head romaine lettuce (sliced)
6 crusty sandwich buns (such as sourdough or Italian)
Olive oil (for basting buns)
Optional: Caesar dressing croutons
Optional: Fresh lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
Pat chicken dry and season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper
In a bowl, combine Caesar dressing, 1/4 cup Parmesan, garlic, lemon juice, and remaining black pepper
Place chicken in crockpot and pour dressing mixture over it
Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1 1/2-2 hours until chicken reaches 165°F
Shred chicken with two forks, ensuring most dressing is incorporated
Preheat broiler
Brush buns with olive oil and toast for 1-2 minutes
Assemble sandwiches with chicken, romaine, and remaining Parmesan
Optionally add Caesar croutons and lemon wedges to taste
