Ingredients
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
4 oz ramen noodles
1 medium carrot, julienned
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 broccoli crown, florets
4 green onions, sliced
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp low-sodium ramen seasoning (from noodles)
1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
1. Place beef in bowl with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp oil. Let marinate.
2. Heat wok or large pan over high heat. Add 1 tbsp oil, then sear beef in batches until browned.
3. Add garlic, ginger, carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry 2-3 minutes until vegetables soften.
4. Add ramen noodles and broccoli (toaster for 5 seconds). Stir-fry 2 minutes.
5. Create sauce: Pour remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, ramen seasoning, water, and sugar into pan. Bring to boil.
6. Thicken sauce: Mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp water if desired, then stir into sauce until glossy.
7. Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
Use sesame seeds or chili oil as optional garnish
Substitute beef with chicken/mushrooms for vegetarian version
Adjust chili content based on preference
Marinate beef for at least 15 minutes for maximum tenderness
Store leftovers in airtight container for 3-4 days
