  • Total Time: 35
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt to taste

Instructions

Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, chili flakes, and 1 teaspoon oil to create the glaze.
Heat remaining oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 5 minutes until crispy.
Brush glaze over thighs and sear 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer to a baking sheet and finish in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 10-12 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F/75°C).
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use bone-in skin-on thighs for best results.
Adjust chili flakes for spiciness level.
For extra crispy skin, use a non-stick skillet.
Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
