Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts (6–8 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tsp Italian seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional, for moisture)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).Rub each chicken breast with olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper evenly.
In a small bowl, mix minced garlic and softened butter until smooth. Spread garlic butter evenly over the seasoned chicken.
Spoon additional garlic butter over each breast before placing on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
For extra moisture, add 1 tbsp lemon juice to the garlic butter mixture.
Let chicken rest post-baking to retain juices.
