Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 teaspoon lion’s mane mushroom powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cordyceps mushroom powder
- 1 teaspoon maca root powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
- 1 tablespoon dried goji berries
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup filtered water
Instructions
- Pour almond milk into a small saucepan.
- Add filtered water to the saucepan.
- Heat the mixture to approximately 160°F without boiling.
- In a small bowl, whisk together lion’s mane powder, cordyceps powder, maca root powder, and ashwagandha powder.
- Add ginger powder, cinnamon, and sea salt to the powder mixture.
- Whisk the powders together until evenly combined.
- Place raw honey directly into a large mug or blending vessel.
- Pour the warm liquid mixture slowly into the mug containing honey while stirring constantly.
- Stir for about 30 seconds until the honey is completely dissolved.
- Slowly add the combined powders to the warm liquid while stirring vigorously.
- Blend with an immersion blender for 15 to 20 seconds for a creamier texture, or whisk by hand for 45 seconds.
- Top with dried goji berries.
- Let the blend sit for two minutes so the adaptogens hydrate and flavors meld.
- Taste and adjust with more honey or cinnamon if desired.
- Serve warm immediately.
Notes
Keep the liquid between 155°F and 165°F to preserve the raw honey enzymes and delicate nootropic compounds. Whisk powders together before adding liquid to prevent clumps, and let the blend rest briefly before drinking for the best flavor and texture.
