Ingredients
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tbsp ranch seasoning
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Place chicken in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the cheese mixture over the chicken.
Cook on low for 4–6 hours until chicken is tender.
Shred the chicken using two forks.
Serve on toasted buns, optionally adding extra cheese or condiments.
Notes
Use sharp cheddar for best flavor and melt.
Toast buns lightly for added texture.
Recipe can be made ahead up to 2 hours before serving.
Leftover chicken mix stores in the fridge for 2–3 days.
Substitute ranch seasoning with garlic herb seasoning for a twist.
