Ingredients

8 oz bow-tie pasta
1 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
1 cup cucumber, diced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh parsley
1 tbsp fresh basil
1/2 cup French dressing (see below)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup white vinegar
Optional: 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse.
In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, bell peppers, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, parsley, and basil.
To make dressing, mix French dressing base, paprika, sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and vinegar. Blend until smooth.
Pour dressing over the pasta salad, tossing gently to coat.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving to let flavors meld.

Notes

Store in airtight container for up to 2 days. Add olive oil during dressing prep for a smoother texture. Substitute halal-certified ingredients if preferred.
