1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 large avocado, sliced
4 large whole wheat tortillas
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime, cut into wedges
Handful of shredded lettuce or spinach
Optional: sliced cherry tomatoes or radishes for crunch
Instructions
In a bowl, mix turmeric, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create the spice blend.
Toss the chicken strips with olive oil and spice blend, ensuring even coating.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and slightly golden.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
Spread avocado slices on each tortilla.
Layer cooked chicken, cilantro, lettuce or spinach, and optional toppings.
Top with a squeeze of lime juice and wrap tightly.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For best texture, cook the chicken right before assembling the wraps.
Use gluten-free tortillas if necessary.
